The following changes have been made:

  • Rearranged forums for scalability and speed.
  • Added FAQs with the first set of answers.
  • Fixed Game Openings not emailing new creation posts.
  • Updated the front page to hopefully better explain the site.
  • Added reminders to setup email preferences. Respecting members privacy Warfare Project uses an opt-in preference system, so unless preferences are setup users do not get emailed.
If you have any comments or find any errors please let us know on the suggestions/features forum.

The following fixes/minor features have been added:

  • Fixed deleting tools (look for expired/deleted tools under expired filter)
  • Player list can now import all or select and set nicknames
  • Tools quick nav
  • Tool examples
  • Minor country control now displays full information in verify and complete stages
  • prev/next on read in forums

Version 3 completely revamps the Warfare Project website. The whole site layout and look has been updated, please let us know how you like it. The following features have been added/updated:

  • Tools have no create limits, instead you can save up to 1000 tools in your account.
  • Non-saved tools may expire after 10 days (to reclaim server storage space).
  • You can mix and match recipients, both members and email addresses can be included in the same tool.
  • Interactive tools allow the creator to send a reminder with current status and a message to the recipients.
  • The secret keeper tool has the option of the creator ending it early.
  • Player Lists is easier to import into a tool and if one is set to default it pre-loads into tool setup.
  • Game Openings now have a forum associated with it, to discuss the game before creation. A player list can be automatically setup if needed.
  • Forums to discuss Suggestions/Features, General Wargaming, and Empires in Arms have been setup.
  • Help Section answers questions to troubleshoot problems.
The new version has the added benefit of making tool development easier, please check back for more updates in the near future.

By request the Dice Rollers now has a quick input field for recipients. Copy/paste up to 10 email addresses into the quick input field making it much simpler to add emails to the public tools. The Embedded Dice Roller had the classic view added to it, check this box and you get the dice rolls separate from the embedded die signifiers with the original request included below.

The Web-Grognards have added Warfare Project to their pbem links page. The grognard site is a great resource for wargaming, and has amassed a great collection of information. You really should check them out if you have not been there before. If you are wondering what a grognard is...
